County Tyrone, Northern Ireland - Spacetherm F

A. Proctor Group has recently supplied some Spacetherm F panels to a project in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

The boards were installed onto an existing solid wall, which had an uninsulated U-Value of only 2.54W/m2K.  These walls had been proving  problematic to the householders as the rooms were hard to heat and had been affected by damp.

Homeseal, in conjunction with NIE Energy, installed 28mm Spacetherm F onto the internal walls.  Due to the thinness of the product, it meant that valuable room space was not taken up.  Homeseal also completed the whole project in just six working days!

The improved thermal performance after installation, using only 28mm, gave a U-Value of 0.54W/m2K – an improvement factor of 79%.

In testimony to this product, Mr & Mrs Quinn, the householders, were “delighted with the insulation and didn’t need to have their heating on in the upstairs rooms........ whereas before, the heating was on solidly.”
