Our in-house acoustics laboratory provides facilities for the testing of airborne & impact sound transmission for our own product development & as a stand-alone facility for clients wishing to obtain acoustic data on their products.

Site sound insulation testing is available to clients for both walls and floors as required by Building Regulations and as part of an assessment for residential conversion on the existing building prior to redevelopment. This allows us to provide tailored advice which can significantly reduce the risk of failure following completion and often reduce the level of material and remedial measures necessary to pass a sound test.

Sylomer is an advanced elastomeric vibration isolation foam used for various acoustic applications including rail beds, plant room isolation and cinemas. A bespoke design and calculation service to ensure correct application is provided.

Quantity takeoffs for acoustics deck and batten systems, including estimates for glues, mineral fibre quilts, flanking strip etc. 

Calculations predicting the transfer of moisture vapour through a building element, and modelling the dew point temperatures and likelihood of interstitial condensation occurring. 

These calculations are used to determine gas protection requirements. This will produce a design showing required level of ventilation, requirements for barriers and positioning of outlets etc. 

SAP calculations are used to demonstrate compliance with building regulations as regards energy performance. We provide SAP calculations for domestic projects in Scotland, England, Wales and NI. 

Designing and quoting for cut to falls flat roof insulation (Prodeck). To provide a quotation we require a roof plan, with dimensions and positions of outlets clearly shown, along with the required fall direction.
