Social Responsibility

Social Responsibility lies at the heart of the A Proctor Group as a Family Business we pride ourselves on engaging and supporting local and national charities and events.

As a business, we recognise our responsibility to support both the local community in which we operate and have an influence as well as support national charities. We are committed to continue investment into various educational, sport,leisure and community projects to increase the positive impact we haveon local communities, our future employees and the environment.

Each year Company staff are given the oportunity to vote for a charity that will recieve support for the year. This years Employee voted chosen charity was the TCCL.

Tayside Children with Cancer & Leukaemia (TCCL) is a charity registered in Scotland with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR)

Tayside Children with Cancer & Leukaemia has been serving Tayside and NE Fife since 1994. They support families in our local area who have a child under the age of 18 who has been diagnosed with either cancer of leukaemia. They work with local health services to provide supportive care during treatment and also up to 3 years after treatment is completed.

The A. Proctor Group enjoys doing a lot for local and national communities and we support many different clubs and charities.

Blairgowrie Pipe Band

Blairgowrie Pipe Band was established to support the local community by keeping Scottish music and culture vibrant and providing an inter-generational community social group. The band support local, national and international events through the members' hard work and dedication. APG is a lead sponsor of the Blairgowrie pipe band and often attend thier events.

Wellmeadow Amateur Boxing Club

In 2000 A. Proctor Group Ltd, became aware of the club needing a place to train and offered them the use of a shed in the grounds of the company’s Head Office.The neccessary materials were supplied and training sessions have taken place three times a week ever since.There have been several outstanding young boxers among the Club’s ranks and three have boxed for Scotland.

Blairgowrie Riding for the Disabled

In late 2015 we were approached by Blairgowrie Riding for the Disabled to help with sponsorship. Blairgowrie Riding for the Disabled operates from a field in the town’s Golf Course Road, helping children with physical and mental difficulties take to the saddle.The group is currently in need of volunteers if you think you can help,contact

The employee voted chosen charity for 2016 was WiseCraft Blairgowrie.Wisecraft is a Mental Health and Wellbeing Hub, based in Blairgowrie. For over 11 years, Wisecraft has provided a safe environment for adults recovering from mental illness to rebuild their lives.
