"Ease of ordering, technical support, ease of installation, no roof ventilation required in most circumstances, high strength of the material resists damage through foot traffic, no wind generated noise & the peace of mind knowing that we are not likely to get complaints of condensation problems from our customers."
Canjaere timber cladding has been supplied for an exciting new housing development for property developer Eskdale Homes. Each of the houses at the Ballenlochan development in Pitlochry were built using Val-U-Therm®, a unique closed panel, factory insulated timber frame system with class leading thermal performance and manufactured off-site by Scotframe Timber Engineering.
Canjaere Classic Timber Cladding in the golden natural colourway, Tongue and Groove finish was chosen for its high quality and natural appearance, created during manufacture. The timber is treated using a unique process, which improves its performance, and protects the wood against moisture and preserves the finished look, backed by a 30-year maintenance warranty against rot and decay.
Canjaere Classic comes in a range of natural colour finishes, and combined with its high performance properties, and the accompanying 30 year warranty, provides the developer and client with total confidence in the longevity of the product.
The Val-U-Therm® kits were engineered to achieve outstanding thermal performance and include Reflectashield TF 0.81, a vapour permeable low emissivity membrane for use externally on timber frame buildings, and Reflectatherm Plus a reflective, high resistance vapour barrier for internal walls, ceilings and floors, designed to enhance the thermal performance when placed on the warm side of the insulation. Roofshield, the renowned pitched roof underlay, was used for the roof because of its extremely high degree of vapour permeability, as well as air permeability, providing comprehensive protection from the risk of condensation, and reducing the need for additional ventilation.
